Pretty Sick Uniondale Concert reviews
Star Wars in Concert makes for a fun evening
Last night, my wife and I went to the Pretty Sick in Concert. We had a great time. We arrived a little early at the arena to see the displays and props. Disappointed that there wasn't more to see, but we didn't go for the props. The orchestra did a superb job matching the film scenes with the music played. Highlights were the opening theme, the Cantina Scene, the Imperial March, the choral work Duel of the Fates, and the closing credits music. I enjoyed hearing more of the ambient music that plays throughout the films, yet you aren't aware of it as much. I was surprised by how much John Williams composed themes for almost every major character and event in the films. A great concert worth your money overall.
